NASA has again postponed its Artemis lunar mission, which has raised concerns in Congress. There are concerns that China may be ahead of the US in lunar exploration.
NASA announced that the landing of astronauts on the Earth’s satellite will not take place until September 2026. Many members of Congress see this as a serious geopolitical issue.
Frank Lucas, a member of the House of Representatives and chairman of the Committee on Science, Space and Technology, said, “The country that first lands will be able to set a precedent for future lunar activity, to determine whether or not it will be open and transparent.”
